Helping Hands Family is an Autism Therapy Provider serving the states of MD, PA, NJ, NY and CT. The Pediatric Feeding Disorder Program at Kennedy Krieger Institute treats the full spectrum of feeding disorders, from aggressive tantrums to vomiting during meal time.
We work with children with behavior-related feeding issues (including children with autism spectrum disorder) and those with medical issues that make eating or swallowing difficult.

The Johns Hopkins School of Education provides two pathways for becoming certified in behavior analysis—a post-master’s certificate in ABA and an MS in Special Education with an Emphasis in ABA. The Neurobehavioral Continuum of Care provides assessment and treatment services for the diverse needs of children and young adults with severe challenging behavior (e.g., self-injury, aggression, property destruction). This includes interdisciplinary treatment combined with applied behavior analytic treatment on our Inpatient Neurobehavioral Unit, as well as clinic-based day treatment and intensive outpatient services, in our Outpatient Program. Both programs conduct clinically-informed research, train staff, trainees, and caregivers, and are involved in advocacy to support those we serve while promoting best practices for this population. Under the guidance of experts in the field, we offer training and supervision in how to conduct a functional analysis of challenging behavior and use assessment findings to develop personalized, comprehensive treatments. Supervisors oversee implementation of behavioral treatment and skill development protocols through staff engagement.
